Besides through Amazon, I found very few reviews about this shampoo. In an effort to provide the best review possible, I'll give you all of the information I'd find necessary in a review:-- My hair is long, wavy (but not curly) and on a thickness scale of 1 (Fine) to 10 (Thick), I'd say my hair is a 4. It's not thinning, my hair is just on the fine side.-- My hair is between a dark and medium brown color.-- I am Caucasian.-- I have a few dyed light brown highlights in my hair.-- I have no allergies.I started using this shampoo when I received it from Amazon. I used it for over two weeks straight. I did not notice a different in color, although I believe that blondes would see more of a change if there is one at all. It smells great and my hair was quite soft. I follow it with a conditioner I've used for years.During my third week of use, my head started itching. I noticed my back was itching too. I didn't think it could be a shampoo because I've used every kind of shampoo known to man, from cavier shampoos (Alterna) to cheap Dove shampoo and everything in between. I've tried Nioxin (again, my hair is rather fine) and not even that causes a reaction. Figuring it couldn't be shampoo, I kept using it through week 3 and slathered my back in lotion to stop the itching. After week 3, my scalp was SO dry feeling I kept an old school bristled brush next to my bed to scratch my head until it was raw. I kept my husband awake at night and it kept me awake at night. It was HORRIBLE. I immediately stopped using the Tio Nacho shampoo. I went out and bought Head and Shoulders "Instant Relief" shampoo because I was desperate to use anything that would prevent me from using sandpaper on my head. Three days later, the itching started to subside.I've been scared to use the Tio Nacho shampoo since that incident in case it caused the problem. It could be a case of crappy timing though so next month I'm going to start again. At that time, I'll update this review. No one else seemed to have this problem so I'm wondering if this was just a bad coincidence. I'll let you know! Results after three weeks of use:- No change in hair color, even the parts that were bleached light brown- My hair did feel softer- My scalp itched so much I wanted to scratch it with a cheese grater.Stay tuned! My plan is to update this again in April 2016.NOTE: Regarding the "Royal Jelly": I remember reading that if you read the ingredients in the product, they're listed by amount from largest to smallest. The second-to-last ingredient listed is Royal Jelly so I'm wondering how much is actually present in this shampoo.I specially like the honey smell, I do get this a lot now.Definitely does gradually lighten hair as well as helps prevent highlights from getting brassy.I love this product! I made the great mistake of dyeing my hair black and I hated my hair, so I decided to try to lighten slowly with camomile and this shampo worked amazingly! My first wash, I could see the color coming out (after a month and a half after dyeing it) the color was still coming out!!! I wash my hair twice a week and I can see the black color fading to light brown! I Definitely recommend this productBoth my wife and I while living in one of the most humid climates in the country, suffer from dry skin that includes our scalps. I had been using dry shampoo for some time until my wife's brother came to town from Ecuador and recommended Tio Nacho. We ordered it and have been using it for more than a month and neither of us have had dry scalp and my wife loves the smell as well as how soft it makes her hair feel. Was a bit skeptical at 1st , was trying to lighten up the dull dark blonde I had become . After using 1 bottle of this a few family members asked if had died my hair . I did not but it is now back to the golden days of the youth . If you use it like they suggest this will work , keep in mind my hair color was dark blonde to light brown to start with . Good productlike it do not do you hear light I use for monthsTio Nacho is a great shampoo, you don't really need the conditioner because this shampoo leaves your hair like silk. You may not like the smelling, but it goes away when your hair gets dry. Little pimples that I used to have under my hair skin while using other shampoos have disappear. Keep in mind not everybody reacts the same to all products.i cant help but think this product damages my hair. it makes my hair looks limp, rough and doesnt lighten my hair.ThanksI love this stuff
