I was scouting around for bottled shampoo substitutes and came across this product. The product is really good and makes my hair soft. While the price may look a little steep for a small soap, the point is, you don't really need to apply too much because the soap lathers up nicely. So, it should stick around for a long time too. One thing to be careful is, the soap should not be in contact with water after usage, or it just completely melts like butter. I had to put in a bowl to use it after the first couple of washes. The only downside is the smell, which isn't that great, but bearable since the smell doesn't linger in the hair after wash.One request to the manufacturers - please do not use plastic packaging material to wrap the soap, if paper will do the job. Only then will the product be truly plastic free and help reduce the carbon footprint of people like me.
