I only wash my hair with this stuff once a month or so (I follow the CG/Curly Guy/Curly Girl method for hair care so I wash *and* condition with conditioner); I have low porosity hair so I get a lot of buildup on top of my hair. This shampoo strips off anything that's not supposed to be in my hair, leaving it rather dry and in desperate need of conditioner. This *is not* a shampoo that you should be using every wash; your hair will become very dry and brittle if you do that. This shampoo strips *everything* off including the natural oils your hair needs to stay healthy. If you're using product that gives you a lot of buildup, a wash with this once a week or two would be great.Pros:- Smells great. Starts with the bright citrus scent tea tree is known for and evolves into an absolutely luxurious, earthy, herbal scent that I just love. I wish I could use it every wash.- Does what it's meant to: strips the crud off your hair.- Is a very good value! I was expecting a much smaller bottle given the price.Cons:- Will strip your hair of natural oils and leave it dry and brittle if you wash with it too often- Isn't meant for colour treated hair (again, it strips everything off)When this gigantic bottle runs out in a year I'm definitely topping up with more of this.
